1. Ensure the substrate is thoroughly cleaned and adequately wetted to guarantee strong adhesion with the finish layer. Apply the bonding slurry properly and proceed with plastering immediately after application. After installation, cover and cure the surface promptly to prevent hollow spots caused by poor bonding between the mortar and the substrate.

2. Strictly inspect and select floor tiles before installation; do not use any tiles that fail to meet quality standards. Prevent foot traffic on the newly laid tiles too early to avoid uneven joints.

3. Stretch a guide line across the entire area and align the tiles with it during installation. After laying each row, re-check the alignment with the guide line to ensure the joints are straight and uniform, preventing uneven gaps between tiles.

4. Before installing skirting tiles, check the wall surface for flatness and mark a horizontal control line. Use a guide line during installation to ensure the top edge of the skirting is straight and the projection from the wall is consistent.

5. The color of the joint-grouting material should match the floor tiles to avoid uneven coloring that would detract from the aesthetic appearance.

6. Exercise care during cutting and ensure accurate measurements to avoid irregular or unsightly cuts around floor drains and pipe penetrations.
