Prices vary significantly due to four key factors: material composition, specifications and design, construction methods, and project scale.
Regarding material composition, the use of high-grade cement, galvanized rebar, and specialized protective coatings increases costs; stone-effect and wood-effect models are 30%–50% more expensive than standard versions due to additives and complex manufacturing processes. Unit prices range from 80–150 RMB/meter for standard cement railings, 150–300 RMB/meter for stone-effect models, and 120–250 RMB/meter for wood-effect models.
In terms of specifications and design, increased railing height, wall thickness, and weight drive up the price; complex designs-such as those featuring carvings or non-standard shapes-incur higher mold and construction costs, resulting in unit prices 50%–100% higher than those of straight-bar designs. Regarding construction methods, cast-in-place railings are 20%–30% more expensive per unit than precast ones, and challenging installation environments (such as high-altitude locations or irregular foundations) raise costs; prices also rise with the complexity of surface protection treatments.
Regarding project scale, bulk purchases of precast railings can qualify for discounts of 10%–20%-with lower unit prices for larger volumes-whereas small-batch orders involving complex designs see significant price increases.
